 | About UsPacific GeneTech Limited (PGT) develops and commercializes vaccine technologies that address unmet needs related to the escalating threat of emerging infectious diseases and other pathogens. Founded in 2009, PGT acquired the global, exclusive rights to a vaccine technology platform, “Isis”. Isis was developed by a group of US leading institutions in veterinary medicine led by the University of Arkansas. PGT has collaborated with the creators of Isis to further develop the applications derived from the technology and to bring these applications to the market. PGT also facilitated the enhancement of the intellectual property portfolio of the technology platform. In 2011, approximately two years after acquiring the rights to Isis, PGT entered into a sub-license agreement with a major international animal health company for the purpose of commercializing the first vaccine candidates to be derived from Isis. Other vaccine candidates are being prepared for introduction to commercial partners. PGT is also engaged in discussions with other institutions and research organizations regarding additional vaccine and biomedical technologies that PGT can acquire or partner for development and commercialization.
